Mission Statement
Lung Cancer Circle of Hope is committed to educating the public and members of the medical community about lung cancer; advocating on behalf of lung cancer patients, their families and others at risk, influencing public policy decisions relating to lung cancer and promoting increased funding for lung cancer research.
Values
In order to bring our vision to fruition and adhere to the goals set forth in our mission statement we have adopted guiding principles -- a conduct guide creating the framework for all our interactions.
We affirm our values of:
Commitment: we commit to working toward the realization of our vision never forgetting good governance principles
Compassion: we believe all those affected by lung cancer, especially patients and survivors deserve compassion and understanding regardless of smoking history
Collaboration: we will identify and collaborate with all groups who share our vision
Focus: we recognize our responsibility as fiduciary agents and pledge transparency in our financial transactions and a focused budget low on administrative costs.
Tobacco Policy
Lung Cancer Circle of Hope hereby certifies that we do not or will not accept funding from a tobacco company. We do not and will not have any affiliation or contractual relationship with a tobacco company including any of its subsidiary companies.
